Google +

Google + is the new social kid on the block, with limited Beta every one is trying to find a way in.
What I think Google + does better than Facebook is control the way you post your content. The ability to send your posts to selected people/circles is a great idea. I have not used Facebook a tone because I find it frustrating to use, The layout is not intuitive at all.
At the moment Google + is Ad free ( I assume this will change in time ) but the layout matches that of Google Search, and G-Mail.
I would invest the time to share links, images, and videos on Google plus over Facebook. I also consider Google + to be a bit more personal as in it’s not full of other people’s junk. Your profile page looks more or less like a Tumbler blog.
So far so good.
With Google having the +1 button in the search results it is giving a lot of power to users to promote the websites they like. This will most definitely effect SEO as I would think organic recommendations will be valued higher than text-based keywords, and thus adding value and relevance to Advertising. Google will know more about you and in turn deliver more content you “like”, much like Facebook.
Rite now I have noticed an issue with actually finding Google +

Dingo a Lightweight MVC PHP Framework
I have been using a small PHP MVC Framework called Dingo Framework.
Dingo is a Rapid Development Application Framework written in PHP by Evan Byrme. Dingo allows you to create dynamic changing websites easily and quickly.
Dingo is a relatively new full featured framework at a compact size of 70KB, It supports Fancy URL’s, Access Control List, User Authentication, ORM, and simple no SQL database interaction.
Dingo is very easy to leverage, adding 3rd parties libraries is dead easy. The configuration is simple with support for multiple database connections, auto load libraries and helpers.
Dingo is well documented, but a little out dated, You are probably better off checking GitHub for more up to date code.
Try the Dingo TextMate Bundle!

MagicPrefs

I have had the Magic mouse for close to a year now, at first it took some getting used to. My resting a finger would often zoom something or scroll the page as I relaxed my hand. As i got used to the mouse I quickly realized that the speed setting was maxed out and that I needed more!
Enter MagicPrefs
MagicPrefs is a free menubar and preference pane application for OSX which aims to improve the functionality and configuration options of the Apple Magic Mouse.
It features the ability to bind a variable number of finger clicks, taps, swipes, pinch and other gestures to functions like Middle Click , Hold Down Both Mouse Buttons , Spaces , Expose, Dashboard , Recent Applications, Tweet, Read Tweets, Google Reader etc.
Touch Sensitivity implements a single point control for a number of factors impacting the algorithms of the taps, swipes, pinch and other gestures.
Tracking Speed adds the ability to increase the maximum mouse speed by an extra 200%.
Also featured is a real-time display of the fingers touching the surface of the mouse that you can enable to test and monitor the way the mouse sees your input.
Flash on the iPhone, some thoughts about HTML5
Ok, It has been what 3-4 years and flash has yet to be on the iPhone. It never seemed to be a big deal until Apple pulled the plug on any apps compiled in third party compilers and with the announcement of the iPad.
This isn’t speaking to Adobe directly but since Adobe had a Flash App bundle set to release about 2 weeks after the iPad was announced it set the pace for the Brand wars.
Steve Jobs released a public letter “Thoughts on Flash”
Adobe countered with the launch of an ad campaign We love Apple
A few facts.
Most if not all flash on the net is designed for mouse interaction meaning anything with that requires hovering will suffer on the iPhone only because it was not designed as the designated device for delivery.
Flash used in Kiosks is generally designed for touch interaction.
Think of any Flash interaction that has a hover state like a drop down menu. Most sites require the mouse to be in the active area. Now put your finder over top of the text, remembering your screen is now 3.5″ (granted not as bad on the iPad) It becomes obvious that your finger is not transparent and in the way.
